A Bit About Me

FAMILY FIRST
My biggest accomplishment in life has been marrying my best friend, Natalie, and being a dad to our five beautiful children.
Every day is an adventure in our household and on our little farm, and we love every minute of it!
Fletcher Fun fact - our kids are 5th Generation Fletcher's farming this property!

FOURTH GENERATION FARMER
I grew up on a small farm where we raised our own beef, pork and poultry. Our neighbors were one of the biggest dairy farms in our region. So, suffice to say, farming, agriculture and rural life run deep in my blood.
My wife and I (and our 5 kids) live on the original Fletcher Farm property where we operate our fall corn maze attraction, animal-assisted psychotherapy practice while we slowly build up our Highland Cattle fold and Alpine Goat herd!

THERAPIST AND SPEAKER
As a mental heath therapist and small-scale farmer, I have made it my mission to use my reach and influence to improve mental health among farmers.
My Farming for Mental Health talk uses farming as a metaphor to understand mental health from an ecological perspective. I blend storytelling, personal anecdote and research in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. The audience leaves my sessions knowing exactly what to do to improve their mental health and wellness.
